DGDA: Use of antibiotics restricted for coronavirus treatment

DGDA Director General (DG) Maj Gen Md Mahbubur Rahman said this at a press conference in Dhaka on Monday morning.

At the press conference, Delta Pharma Ltd announced to provide 300,000 necessary medicines (tablets) to treat Covid-19 patients. The medicines include Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin.

The director general said 100,000 tablets can be used for 20,000 coronavirus affected patients.

Apart from Delta Pharma, other pharmaceutical companies are also ready to supply medicines, he added
